What you saw this week was reminiscent (at least to me) of 2017 trading - ranges were tight and order flow was slow. What you’ve had the last 4 years for those new to the game is unprecedented in terms of ranges and volatility. That’s good or bad depending on how (or if) you harnessed it. If you’re only trading momentum/volatility then you better hope this is not sustaining or you better have other strategies deployable.

BABA - David Tepper (Hedge Fund Manager) upped his BABA position to nearly $1B which had the stock up +7% today to a new yearly high. I made some mention to this in a report last week about how I like to trade this name - it’s prone to gap up and downs and regulation with China so holding the equity long takes a special person but this has done well, finally.
