Surfing on Mars
Good morning from Lake Powell, Utah.
I took a few days off this week and weekend to get away from the markets and get out to a place I’ve been trying to get to for years: Lake Powell.
A few years ago I took up the hobby of wake-surfing and it’s become an addiction.
It sort of looks like mars with the rock formings there.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel and do things like this and getting to take this time off was clutch.
Disconnecting from the markets is super rare for me because I have monetary goals that I am trying to reach and the markets are the source for that.
But it makes it easier to do when I get to do something that I enjoy because it takes my mind away from stocks/commodities/interest rates etc.
Plus, it beats 115 in Phoenix right now and Hurricane season in Puerto Rico.
I have a few more days of this and then some golf in Flagstaff with a long time friend then it’s back to the markets.
Speaking of that…..
Make sure you get a copy of my report, I send it out Sundays.
That’s it for me back to being off the grid for a few more hours.
Enjoy your weekend.
Dan
